Luis Fabiano Cunha Neves was born in São Luis, capital of the state of Maranhão, Brazil - September 12th. He has taken several technical courses, as well as attended the College of Geography where he studied for 5 semesters. He then decided to dedicate himself to photography and in 1997 he moved to Brasília, where he has basically worked for big promotional events, magazines and different agencies. He is currently working for the Vice-Governor of the Federal District, covering social and political events. He was introduced to the groups of artisans by Socorro Leal Schwiderski, and has since become a great fan of this project. He enjoys spending time with the women and men who help protect the environment at the same time that they create beautiful art.
